我一直在困惑，金边瑞香还有人种么？还卖得起价么？如果说辛辛苦苦种出来卖个白菜萝卜价，还不如直接种白菜萝卜呢。

上个世纪90年代初，昆明呈贡县斗南村农民在菜地中零星种植一些花卉，与蔬菜一起在农贸市场销售，没想到比种菜还赚钱。于是，许多农民都开始种花，有的种三分、五分地，有的种几亩、十几亩，花卉畅销全国几十个大中城市，斗南村成为中国最大的鲜花生产和交易中心，"斗南花卉"成为全国知名品牌，斗南花市占约60％的国内市场份额。花卉产值已经占到呈贡县农业总产值的20%，斗南地区农民人均纯收入超过4000元，成为依靠花卉致富的小康村。来自斗南镇政府的数据表明，在全镇常住农业人口中，已经有超过85%的农民直接或间接从事鲜花生产，而全镇不到10平方公里的土地中有90%被用于鲜花种植。

　　如果不是鲜花，斗南只会是一个平静的小乡镇。自从1991年全镇大规模普及鲜花种植以来，它就渐渐习惯在大城市醒来以前就开始一天的忙碌了，斗南的鲜花要被用去装点中国的许多城市，最早的一批鲜花，每天早上六点钟前运抵北京。)reDMsO

Q N&MvQ 　　2004年2月，来自昆明斗南镇小梅子村的孙自立蹲在斗南鲜花交易市场拥挤、狭窄的过道旁抽烟，不时抬头向经过此地的顾客吆喝他摊位上的香水百合，他说，斗南镇从20世纪80年代起就零零星星地种点鲜花。1988年起，部分村民开始把种菜的土地腾出来种花，用小板车拉到昆明城走街串巷地卖，很是火了一把。他们仔细算了一笔账，斗南的地质条件和地理条件如此适宜种花，种花的技艺和种菜差不多，但"种花每亩收入比种菜种粮高出四五倍"。

　　小小的斗南有三大市场：昆明国际花卉拍卖交易中心是我国最大的产地型花卉拍卖中心，全国第一个国际化的高级花卉拍卖市场。斗南花卉市场是全国最大的鲜花交易市场，日成交额300～400万元，在全国每10枝鲜花中，就有3枝出自斗南。1999年，据上海无形资产评估事务所评估，"斗南花卉"品牌价值为32亿元人民币；另外，斗南的盆花盆景市场已发展为60多家门市。7B0~;s~d#[0~a

　　制约国产花出口的主因是质量较差。我国花卉种植面积是"花卉之国"荷兰的10倍，但荷兰的花卉出口创汇额却占世界的70%以上，我国只占到0.5%。尽管我国花卉资源世界首屈一指，但专业化、规模化程度极低，结构性过剩严重，由于科研投入不足，花卉科技含量低，品种单一。

从斗南花卉来看，花卉行业需要做大做强，更需要做好做精。我个人认为瑞香花卉的发展问题比较大：
5k)n0W8U1?QO^V5Z 首先，瑞香的知名度不高——也许很多人要跳出来否定这个观点，但是实事求是的说，至少从我接触到的人来说，包括我在昆明上学时的同学，工作后的同事，出差在外接触到的同行，基本上没发现有人知道瑞香，好象昆明99年世博会上有红皮菜的参展，但没听说有瑞香参展。
Y"B$MP#L"D'` 第二，瑞香的生长周期太长。从剪接到小苗基本要半年多，小盆到从中盆到大缸也基本要一年多，期间要投入大量的人力、物力去换盆、造型。虽然我不知道现在一个大缸的瑞香可以卖多少钱，但记忆中在90年代初中期红火的时候大概也是在200到300吧（这个数字我不能确定，或许会更高一点吧），这样的投入产出比，是不是低了一点呢？
#T%rN9Gd%b 第三，瑞香的花期短，基本上就是春节前，上市时间也基本上就是一、二个月，市场面基本就是广东和省内。而且瑞香不像鲜花那样方便，总不能让男孩子追女孩子时捧着一大盆瑞香吧？_!J#j*c9a0k-o4_8y
第四，比较一般的室内观赏植物、盆景，瑞香的栽培技术要求比较高，一般人服伺不了。

从这些角度出发，我觉得大余的执政者们真的应该重新审视一下瑞香行业的发展思路，是不是仍然要这样走下去？-nI5JG1J v
